Recently, AgroGreenSUDOE researchers Gabriela Rodrigues and Teresa Rita participated in the IX National Congress on Irrigation and Drainage in Portugal.

They had the opportunity to display a poster related to the AgroGreen SUDOE project, named "Design of more sustainable agricultural production strategies within the SUDOE territory: case study of Vale do Sorraia". In this poster, they presented the main goals of the project, described all the field work done during the two years of the project and also explained what the expected results are at the end of the project.

Additionally, Teresa Rita had the opportunity to exhibit a poster: "Drainage and leaching of nitrates in a maize plot irrigated by pivot in the Vale do Sorraia. Adequacy of the fertirrigation practices", related to her master thesis, that was done within the scope of the project. As the name suggests, it shows some results about the drainage and leaching of nitrates in that plot and also describes some of the field work that coincides with the field work done for the project.
